Iron Chefs Troop Challenge at JOTA-JOTI
Have you practiced your culinary camp cooking skills lately? Perhaps you’re out of practice, but know that your troop has better meals at camp than any other troop.
O.K. Prove it.
The annual Iron Chefs Challenge at this year’s JOTA-JOTI Camp will be to see what delectable dishes you can design and deliver by 5:00pm on Saturday.
Chef Thomas will be waiting for you near Conlin Cabin, ready to be dazzled by your talents and ingenuity.
“The Rules”

“The Rules”
- Three mystery cans will be chosen Friday evening at Registration by participating Patrols. The cans will be one vegetable or fruit, one protein and one “extra” ingredient. Please note, a Patrol’s dietary restrictions will be respected.
- Meals must be prepared on-site at Camp using the three mystery ingredients.
- You are required to produce at least two out of three servings; an appetizer, a main course, and / or a desert dish.
- All three mystery ingredients are to be used in any combination across the dishes presented; all three ingredients in one dish, one ingredient showcased in each of three dishes, etc.
- Other food ingredients can be included in the prepared dishes.
- Dishes must be finished, presented ready for the table, at 5:00 pm, Saturday.
